Great location and beautiful property made this gem a must visit. Also my 5 kids wanted a traditional japanese experience and this hit all the marks. Our only issue was our air conditioner remote needed new batteries but that was easily corrected. This was a real experience!

The reception staff doesn't speak English but did their best to communicate. The hotel is barefoot only. You may see Fuji from the higher floors on a good day.

The futon were some of the comfiest I've ever slept on, and the breakfast was a real feast. The Japanese garden and general atmosphere of the inn were very relaxing. Very close to views of Mt Fuji from the beach (if there aren't too many clouds).
