高野山 宿坊 龍泉院 -Koyasan Shukubo Ryusenin- ligger i Koyasan, 45 km från Matsushita Park, och erbjuder utsikt över trädgården. What a memorable stay and experience. The garden is gorgeous, the monks are incredibly nice and the food was delightful. We also enjoyed the morning ceremony. We only stayed for one night yet we will always cherish this memory. Beautiful temple. The experience was amazing. The location is very good, close to the cemetery and not far from the other temples. The dinner and breakfast were very good. It was very nice to see the ceremonies in the morning. Nice onsen to relax.

祇園の宿 杏花 ligger i Kyoto, 3 minuters promenad från Gion Shijo station, och har en trädgård, rökfria rum samt gratis WiFi i alla utrymmen. The place is beautiful and very central to visit Kyoto, the staff is very friendly and always attentive if we needed anything, a wonderful experience, we will return if possible.

Shirahama no Yado Daigo ligger i Shirahama, knappt 200 meter från Shirahama Beach och 1,2 km från Ezura Beach. Här erbjuds gratis WiFi i alla utrymmen. The hostess (who's also the owner) was a very nice and friendly person. Breakfast was complimentary and the hostess even made breakfast by herself to guests every morning and it was delicious! The room is equipped with tatami floor and was super clean. There was no bed but instead futon was provided and you need to set it up by yourself at night which was interesting. It was a special experience to get a chance to sleep in a Japanese futon. If you don't know how to set it up they will help you too. The bathroom is big and equipments were new. The hotel is within 5 minutes walk to the beach. It's also close to a bus stop which takes you to surrounding sightseeing places. There are convenient store and supermarket within walking distance and you can buy fireworks there to play at the beach at night. If we come back to Shirahama in the future we will choose to stay here again.

Nazuna Kyoto Tsubaki St. Ligger i Kyoto, 15 minuters promenad från Kyoto Shigaku Kaikan Conference Hall, och har conciergeservice, rökfria rum, en gemensam lounge, gratis WiFi i alla utrymmen och en... I can't say enough about this place, the staff were extremely helpful and kind, the room was amazing, and of course the dinner and breakfast.. again, amazing.. One of the highlights of our amazing trip to Japan!

Ishibekoji Muan har ett perfekt läge i området Higashiyama Ward i Kyoto, mindre än 1 km från Gion Shijo station, 15 minuters promenad från Samurai Kembu Kyoto och 1,1 km från Kiyomizu-dera tempel. The staff were very accommodating and super friendly. They helped us with luggage transportation and helped clarify getting a gluten-free meal for the breakfast. The rooms were exactly as in the pictures and really comfortable. I would definitely recommend this Ryokan to anyone going to Kyoto. It is quite central so you can easily walk or take public transport to all the popular locations.
