The staff were accommodating and very kind, we will absolutely stay here again next time we are in Kyoto.

The garden is gorgeous, the monks are incredibly nice and the food was delightful. We also enjoyed the morning ceremony. We only stayed for one night yet we will always cherish this memory. Situated in Koyasan in the Wakayama region, 宿坊 光明院 features accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking, as well as access to a hot tub. Beautiful temple. The experience was amazing. The location is very good, close to the cemetery and not far from the other temples. The dinner and breakfast were very good. It was very nice to see the ceremonies in the morning. Nice onsen to relax.

Set in Shirahama, within 200 metres of Shirahama Beach and 1.2 km of Ezura Beach, Shirahama no Yado Daigo offers free WiFi throughout the property. The hostess (who's also the owner) was a very nice and friendly person. Breakfast was complimentary and the hostess even made breakfast by herself to guests every morning and it was delicious! The room is equipped with tatami floor and was super clean. There was no bed but instead futon was provided and you need to set it up by yourself at night which was interesting. It was a special experience to get a chance to sleep in a Japanese futon. If you don't know how to set it up they will help you too. The bathroom is big and equipments were new. The hotel is within 5 minutes walk to the beach. It's also close to a bus stop which takes you to surrounding sightseeing places. There are convenient store and supermarket within walking distance and you can buy fireworks there to play at the beach at night. If we come back to Shirahama in the future we will choose to stay here again.

Nazuna Kyoto Tsubaki St. Provides accommodation located 600 metres from the centre of Kyoto and offers an open-air bath and a shared lounge. the best place to stay In Kyoto. The staff went above and beyond and the dinner and breakfast was just outstanding. A must place to stay

Located within less than 1 km of Gion Shijo Station and a 15-minute walk of Samurai Kembu Kyoto, Ishibekoji Muan provides rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Kyoto. The staff were very accommodating and super friendly. They helped us with luggage transportation and helped clarify getting a gluten-free meal for the breakfast. The rooms were exactly as in the pictures and really comfortable. I would definitely recommend this Ryokan to anyone going to Kyoto. It is quite central so you can easily walk or take public transport to all the popular locations.
