Several have a wood-paneled ceiling and solid wood ceiling beams. Wi-Fi is available free of charge. View is hard to beat. I can see Matterhorn from my bed and watch sun shine on it in the morning. Amazing! Room and bathroom are super clean and comfortable. May be a tad warm to my taste, but not much can be done, it's central heating. Breakfast is great, you can get a variety of healthy options. Sauna is new and clean, I had it to myself every day, at 4:30 it's still empty. Staff if helpful and friendly. There are drinks you can have for additional charges, sort of like mini bar but at the reception. Quite nice to have a beer after sauna.

The host and the hotel owner are definetly the kind of people you want to encounter while traveling. Breakfast is perfect, the hotel is quiet, and the comfort in rooms exactly what you would need. We highly recommend.

Offering stylishly furnished rooms with balconies and coffee machines and free Wi-Fi, the Testa Grigia hotel has been completely renovated in 2010. It is only a 5-minute walk from Zermatt Train Station and Sunnegga Express funicular. The room is large and brightly lit. The bed is comfortable and the facilities are adequate. The breakfast included are great too. The hotel is on the main street but the entrance is a bit difficult to find. I walked pass it the first time without noticing it.

Backstage Boutique Hotel is within walking distance of Gornergrat railway and Sunnega railway. A ski bus is also close by. A tennis court and a skating rink are in front of the hotel. Nice to find a spa with a concept, felt really comfortable there! The rooms were unlike any I've seen before in a hotel and the breakfast was above expectations!

The Matterhorn can be seen from some of the rooms. we stay at family suite Attica . it s splendid view of Matterhorn. big clean room . view of Matterhorn is so amazing like we are at gronnergrat . the Staffs were friendly especially Jo . he helps in every way he could. we love the hotel . will come back again

Carina - Design&Lifestyle hotel is an 8-minute walk from the centre and the Zermatt Train Station, and 230 metres from the Zermatt Funicular. It offers a lounge with an area for playing and a fireplace. The view to the Matterhorn was amazing.

The family-friendly Backpackers Villa in Interlaken, in the heart of the Bernese Oberland, offers simple yet stylish rooms that are individually decorated. Free WiFi is available in all areas of the property. The owner and his staff were super friendly and accommodating. The dinner buffet and dining hall were nice touches. Just a short drive from Gstaad as well, the location was great! The building and furnishings are also maintained really well!
