It is a beautiful hotel with an old world charm. The rooms were spacious and beautifully furnished. The bed was the most comfortable I've I ever had in a hotel. The breakfast spread was superb. The location on lively Jalan Tunjungan was ideal with cafes and restaurants and Tunjungan Plaza across the street. Yet once you enter the hotel, it was like an oasis of peace and quiet with the beautiful gardens and fountains.

The breakfast buffet is a very high quality and variety. With the choice of local and western items it was always a good start to the day. I like the location and it is close to where I need to go most of the time. It is also very convenient for friends to visit from the city. The staff are very friendly and make an effort to speak English and practice their English speaking skills with me. The facilities are great and the service from all staff is excellent. Most enjoyable stay for my time in Surabaya.

The hotel is beautiful, with atmospheric colonnades and gardens, and the rooms are large and beautifully appointed. We were practically the only guests at breakfast both days - the buffet selection was immense and interesting, and the waiting staff member (Rafi) was very friendly and professional. The chef also came out to greet us on the second day, which was much appreciated. The pool area was very nice and my daughter enjoyed her massage.
