Due to the pandemic that has become impossible, so I wanted to pick a country with a coastline towards the Atlantic and Portugal was the perfect match. I had already visited the Algarve last year and knew I wanted to live in a rural location between Aljezur and Odeceixe, so Rogil was what I was looking for. If you really, really want tranquility and peace of mind Herdade de Vagem is truly the place for you. The silence, the closeness to amazing nature like the beach of Praia do Vale dos Homes, the small country roads and friendly people. You have it all here. The host was very attentive and responsive to messages during my stay. As I was coming with food that would have otherwise been spoiled, I was allowed to check in earlier as there were no previous guests. The apartment was simply perfect for me in size. The bed was very comfortable. The kitchen perfect in size. The week I stayed simply flew away. In one way or another I will come back, that is for sure.

Home Village ligger i Vila do Bispo, 35 km fra Aljezur Slot, 45 km fra Algarve Internationale Circuit og 10 km fra Sagres-fæstningen. Der er grillfaciliteter. Perfect little retro house with very sunny balcony. Very comfy beds. Plenty of everything needed to self cater. Perfect retreat for tired hikers . In old town near all the restaurants and hiking trails. Beautiful view of surrounding countryside from balcony. Easiest one of the nicest places we stayed on our 9 stays for the hike. Easy self check in . Sofa bed downstairs is more private than other sofa bed options are the main house is upstairs so feels like a separate bedroom . Owners also made up a single bedroom upstairs which was a bonus . Photos don’t do it justice . It’s a great house at a good price . Thanks for having us

Fantastic location on the edge of the town. Delightful to hear the waves through the night. And a nice little patio catching the sun all day. Also very close to restaurants and the beach.

Quinta do Paraíso ligger i Pedreneiras, mindre end 5 km fra S. Teotónio og 13 km fra Odeceixe, og har en frodig have med stier og bænke overalt. Beautiful gem in the middle of the nature. Very peaceful but at the same time excellent starting point to visit the coast. The host was super friendly. The outdoor kitchen very nice and functional. We loved it (and it's perfect for the rainy days as well)!

So quiet, the staff were great, they made us feel like we were at home. We used a small child and it was perfect for that too. They have já a better house because there was a bigger group next to us so they upgrade us for free to a nicer apartment so that we could Be on our own. A complimentary bottle of wine was waiting for us, that was fantastic. The house had everything we needed to shower sleep, cool etc. We loved it.

Monte Chabouco - Alojamento Local ligger 11 km fra Aljezur i naturparken Vicentine og 700 meter fra vandrestien Rota Vicentina. Der tilbydes komfortable huse kun 2 km fra Vale Figueiras Strand. Super lækkert landsted. Skøn, afsides beliggenhed i bjergene med flot udsigt. Rigtig gode faciliteter. Kan varmt anbefales.

A great quiet refuge, perfect for enjoying time as a family. The 2 Br unit was a perfect size for our family of 4, and the breakfast each day was huge and excellent. My kids loved greeting the farm animals each morning and we enjoyed the nearby hiking trails.
