As a Uruguayan living in Sweden, I always take my vacations in Uruguay. Due to the pandemic that has become impossible, so I wanted to pick a country with a coastline towards the Atlantic and Portugal was the perfect match. I had already visited the Algarve last year and knew I wanted to live in a rural location between Aljezur and Odeceixe, so Rogil was what I was looking for. If you really, really want tranquility and peace of mind Herdade de Vagem is truly the place for you. The silence, the closeness to amazing nature like the beach of Praia do Vale dos Homes, the small country roads and friendly people. You have it all here. The host was very attentive and responsive to messages during my stay. As I was coming with food that would have otherwise been spoiled, I was allowed to check in earlier as there were no previous guests. The apartment was simply perfect for me in size. The bed was very comfortable. The kitchen perfect in size. The week I stayed simply flew away. In one way or another I will come back, that is for sure.

Home Village er gististaður með grillaðstöðu í Vila. do Bispo, 35 km frá Aljezur-kastala, 45 km frá Algarve-alþjóðabrautinni og 10 km frá Sagres-virki. Perfect little retro house with very sunny balcony. Very comfy beds. Plenty of everything needed to self cater. Perfect retreat for tired hikers . In old town near all the restaurants and hiking trails. Beautiful view of surrounding countryside from balcony. Easiest one of the nicest places we stayed on our 9 stays for the hike. Easy self check in . Sofa bed downstairs is more private than other sofa bed options are the main house is upstairs so feels like a separate bedroom . Owners also made up a single bedroom upstairs which was a bonus . Photos don’t do it justice . It’s a great house at a good price . Thanks for having us

A Casinha da Baía er staðsett í Porto Covo og býður upp á gistirými með loftkælingu og verönd. Gististaðurinn er við ströndina og er með aðgang að svölum og ókeypis WiFi. Fantastic location on the edge of the town. Delightful to hear the waves through the night. And a nice little patio catching the sun all day. Also very close to restaurants and the beach.

Chalé da Baía er nýuppgert gistirými sem er staðsett í Porto Covo, nálægt Porto Covo-ströndinni og Buizinhos-ströndinni. Það býður upp á garð og grillaðstöðu. Perfect location for hiking, well-equipped, friendly host, nicely decorated, fantastic patio.

Quinta do Paraíso er staðsett í Pedreneiras, í innan við 5 km fjarlægð frá S. Teotónio og 13 km frá Odeceixe en það býður upp á gróskumikinn garð með stígum og bekkjum hvarvetna. Beautiful gem in the middle of the nature. Very peaceful but at the same time excellent starting point to visit the coast. The host was super friendly. The outdoor kitchen very nice and functional. We loved it (and it's perfect for the rainy days as well)!

Monte Da Baía Do Tonel er staðsett í 5 km fjarlægð frá þorpinu Zambujeira. do Mar og bjóða upp á einstaka tilfinningu fyrir friði og ró. So quiet, the staff were great, they made us feel like we were at home. We used a small child and it was perfect for that too. They have já a better house because there was a bigger group next to us so they upgrade us for free to a nicer apartment so that we could Be on our own. A complimentary bottle of wine was waiting for us, that was fantastic. The house had everything we needed to shower sleep, cool etc. We loved it.

Monte Chabouco - Alojamento Local er staðsett 11 km frá Aljezur í Vicentine Coast-náttúrugarðinum og í 700 metra fjarlægð frá Rota Vicentina-gönguleiðinni. Great location in a peaceful village, not far from sea. The apartment and the whole property were really nice, the hosts lived nextdoor and were very kind. We loved the peaceful atmosphere of the place. The apartment was big enough and we were absolutely satisfied with the interior.

Naturarte Rio - Duna Parque Group er staðsett í náttúrugarðinum Parque Natural do Sudoeste Alentejo e Costa Vicentina og býður upp á villur með eldunaraðstöðu, loftkælingu og loftkælingu. A great quiet refuge, perfect for enjoying time as a family. The 2 Br unit was a perfect size for our family of 4, and the breakfast each day was huge and excellent. My kids loved greeting the farm animals each morning and we enjoyed the nearby hiking trails.
