The owners are also very lovely and helpful people - they recommended many things and are just really nice to chat to as well. They built the hotel themselves! Excellent, very clean and new rooms with a comfy bed and balcony.

Very convenient location to walk around and check out different restaurants. The room was lovely and quite spacious with a comfortable bed. Staff were delightful and only went to the restaurant once but we had a delicious meal.

Everything. It was a rugged location with the lake and sunset at your doorstep. You can wake up to the sound of the waves and it was quite peaceful. But perhaps the best thing about them is the hospitality, and their FOOD. I tried various different restaurants from my stay at Tuktuk and nothing came close to the food made by Hamlet and Rita at Laster Jony's. It felt like coming back home from a long day of travelling. Definitely try their veggie and cheese omelette, fried rice, and mixed fruit pancake 😍.

Beautiful bungalow & view, very comfortable and relaxing for a few nights. We didn't eat at the restaurant - we discovered Coffee2go and Rosalie's as per a previous review, and didn't want to eat anywhere else! Rented a good scooter here for 100k.

My friend and I both got food poisoning on the way to Lake Toba and he took great care of us, making sure we had everything we needed. The view of the lake is wonderful, even from the bed if you're lying there sick all day ;) . When we were able to eat, we had delicious food at the veggie/vegan restaurant above the apartment! The view over the lake is stunning and the rooms are basic but clean and with all that you need. Shower has warm water, too. You can rent scooters through the guest house. We booked bus tickets to Medan airport through the guesthouse as well. A definite recommendation!LaraGroup

Great location and very romantic place at night by the lake. The staff were really helpful and friendly.
