Perfect size room really, the bed was comfortable just how I like it, pillows were ample and firm and despite the temperature having gone up recently I felt the temperature was spot on, which is coming from someone like me who gets hot and bothered easily! Staff nice and friendly, I should have had more of a courage to ask questions but my stay was really for having somewhere to stay overnight as I was away from the hotel all day. Bathroom was nice and modern, shower worked very well. For someone who has very rarely stayed away from my home town and London areas, a good start. Thanks :)
A superb area of The Black Country. Lots of great hotels and apartments to stay in, not too far from Birmingham, to reach by bus or train, to leave your car behind. Lots of great pubs, so no need to lower your standards by using a Weatherspoon's same with food, fantastic ethnic variety to choose from, so no need to lower your standards by using Mcdonald's or KFC.

Our visit was to Aldridge/ Walsall and sorry to say we won't be rushing back. Took daughter to stay at her partners, we booked Barons Court Hotel to have a meal, stay overnight and do something the following day in the area as we had stayed previously and enjoyed ourselves. Hotel review partly reflects how the facilities and area has changed for the worse. Hotel run down, rooms are a shadow of how they appear on the photos. Used the Horse and Jockey pub across road for a meal and drink. Meal okay then found out it was closing down in two weeks to become a Lidl. Looked at next pub to go to, drove down and found out it was a Co op. Nothing else to do so stayed in hotel TWO hours then left for home after dropping daughter off. Certainly no plans to revisit anytime soon.

We went to see Noddy Holder at Walsall Arena Arts Centre. It was an amazing evening. The Beverly Hotel was perfect for my wife and myself. Very friendly and helpful staff. The food was amazing and cooked and served exactly how we wanted it. Very impressed with the stay there and will be back as we have family and friends living close by. So
Thank you for the staff and the enjoyable stay there. Peter Hevican.

Not a lot of independent choices when eating out.
Not a lot of independent choices when eating out. Just the usual chain eateries which make the place feel tacky. Ended up in TFI Fridays due to lack of good choices. It made do as I was only there to carry out a job but I wasn't bowled over by the place. Only good thing was a cool little Caribbean bar called Pimientos across from the station to grab a beer. It felt like entering someone's sitting room.

I found that all the staff were local and very knowledgeable about the area and had worked at the hotel for many years. I would recommend the hotel for conference meetings and a good place to hold wedding receptions. I also found the the food and accommodation exceptional for the price and have already recommended the hotel to other people. I will also be booking again in July when I will be visiting Walsall again.
that’s a wonderful day out there. Especially, we have enjoyed spa facilities, which exceeded my expectations. I was thinking about just a swimming pool and “regular “ spa facilities, such as finish sauna and steam room only. But on the contrary, we spent a lovely time in there with lot’s of spa rooms with different temperatures. The dinner at the bar was great as well. I recommend to try chips, which are the best chips I have ever tried! Well done, chef !
Also we enjoyed walking around Birmingham’s canals.
The staff were EXTREMELY helpful at this hotel - our room wasn't set up properly upon arrival, and the staff very quickly resolved the issue (providing the bedding and making the sofa up into a bed as it was meant to be). Equally, the lady who helped us at breakfast was very very helpful, funny, and thoughtful. The cold breakfast options were excellent and varied - meats, cheeses, cereals, fruit, pastries, bread, all sorts of stuff.
The 3 Teams at Lyndon House Hotel from Reception, the Bar and the Breakfast Team are all outstanding! Their customer care and kindness is second to none. I'd recommend Lyndon House to anyone coming to the Walsall/West Midlands (both for business trips and for a holiday break). The quality of service, food, cleanliness and accommodation are all excellent. Thank You to Lyndon House! 10/10!
I do not like anything about this hotel, The family room is accessed from outside the main building. I believe the suite has not been used in months. The family room was ladden with damp and obvious maps on the walls. The curtain/blinds were smelly. You could tell, they haven't open the doors nor window in months. IT WAS SO BAD I CHECKED OUT IMMEDIATLEY
My fiance booked a night stay at the village as a surprise birthday . It was absolutely fantastic. The room was spotless and very comfortable. The staff was lovely and very helpful. The breakfast was lovely. We have booked this venue for our wedding on 26th July 2025 , we can't wait to return.. I would highly recommend staying at the village hotel..
We had room 4, cosy and very well equipped as you don’t normally have a fridge or microwave in a room, comfortable bed, room lovely and warm on arrival, decent sized bathroom and the person greeting was a nice touch … Manager very polite and helpful … Would definitely stay here again, much nicer than the popular cheap big named hotels.
Arrived to the room with a 15 year old family member at 10pm after hours of travelling. Arrived on the 12th of June, booked the hotel February 10th. Arrived and they’d double booked numerous of us had no room no rooms were available else where due to an event taking place near by. We’re left to stand in the street until midnight.
Everything, friendly staff good value accommodation and meals. Initially I booked for the wrong day and arrived a day earlier than planned but the manager & staff accommodated me and quickly arranged a room, very happy and if I happen to be in the area again I would have no hesitation in staying there again
Thanks again
Good location with restraunts etc nearby. Facilities are excellent and the hotel is very clean. Booking a room was very easy and there was no issues at all. Room was spacious and one of the cleanest we have stayed in. Thank you for a most wonderful and comfortable stay. We will definitely be staying here again.
I think some distinction needs to be made for where taxi drivers should put customers off..my Uber driver had me at the back of Parsons way. If you are new to the area some guidance should be given for safe drop off point and direction for property since it is off road.
The welcome is most welcoming at Fairlawns,I was delighted to be upgraded to a larger room. There is always a friendly positive atmosphere in the different areas of the hotel. I enjoy the fact that you can attend yoga/pilates etc.. as part of the room rate.
Being a Walsall guy but now living and working in central London, I come back to Walsall now and again and always stay at this site over any other. Clean tidy room - minimal noise and a comfy bed to rest my head and by far the cheapest hotel in the area.
Hotel was good food in bar very poor had to wait a long time they staff couldn’t tell us the difference between a medium done steak to a medium well when asked which was which the reply don’t know cut into it scruffy staff
Location was handy for the city centre and the motorway. Plenty of places to eat quite close by and good parking available at the hotel.
The few staff we encountered were very helpful.
Too far from central Walsall buss every half hour but taxi each way when you go out approx 8 pounds it's not really n central position unless you have car. Fabulous host
Nice apartment in a quiet area, secure. Shops were nearby. The host was very friendly and responsive. Would definitely love to visit again. Highly recommended!
