Located in the Island of Faro, with the beach at its doorstep, Aeromar offers a snack-bar and a restaurant with stunning views of the Ria Formosa Natural Park, one of Portugal's 7 Natural Wonders. Having read numerous negative reviews I was surprised by how much I like this place; really got a kick out of the dated, retro furnishings. Hotel and wait staff were very earnest and eager to please. Dinner and breakfast quite good. Room and bed very comfortable. View from either side of hotel is good; one side facing the sea, the other facing an estuary with fishing boats. The beach is long and beautiful, sorry we didn't have time to explore. I would definitely return.

Situated in Faro and only a few steps from Faro Beach, Villa Lydia features accommodation with river views, free WiFi and free private parking. The view was outstanding very peaceful, the staff were also very helpful and answered any queries or messages very quickly.

Set in Faro and with Faro Beach reachable within a few steps, BLife Faro Beach Hostel offers a garden, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi throughout the property and a shared lounge. Amazing location and you cannot beat the price. Everyone I met at the hostel was super friendly and it felt very safe. The view from the balcony is so beautiful and peaceful. Had I known about a place like this sooner I would have visited there earlier.
