Only cold tiles on the floor, could use some mat's. The view from the window could be better, but it is what it is.

This was our 5th time staying at hotel exchange and we were pretty disappointed with the customer service and feel the hotel has gone down hill. We were out in a room which was lovely but there was no sound proofing. Could everything from next door, the walls seemed so thin. When we requested if we could pay an upgrade fee to move the lady at the reception desk was very rude. We would have been happy to pay an upgrade fee but she was dismissive and rude about it. The next room was fine very basic 2 single beds rather than a double. Under the bed was very first

Decor very outdated and kind of weird? Vending machine only took coins, so stupid as I obviously don’t have 10.50€ worth of coins to get an adapter. Horrible smell in the staircase, could only use the lift. Sometimes weird smell coming from our toilet. No where to hang our clothes, could have at least put in a coat hanger.

Clean, great location, nice cafe downstairs. Staff mostly friendly.

The entrance to the Hotel was quite small, we walked past it a few times.

The bed was extremely comfortable. The room was a nice size. The staff were friendly.The location was great, in walking distance of all the museums, tourist attractions,shopping, restaurants, and Dam Square.

On our second night our room filled with cigarette smoke from another guests room with an adjoining wall…. Clearly the two have a shared ventilation system and this was disgusting.

The location of this hotel is perfect for exploring the city.

This is no fault of the hotel at all but the Main Street outside hotel is absolutely filthy it stinks rubbish laid everywhere totally off putting coming back. We’ve been coming to Amsterdam for 8 years and it’s so over populated with tourists not giving any respect to the city dingy, smelly, overall scruffy vibe.

Very good location in the heart of Amsterdam till was very spacious with a comfortable bed & staff very friendly. Only down side was we was on floor 4 when opening the elevator it smelt a bit funny we couldn’t our finger on what it was maybe someone living on that floor but very strange.

Bed was uncomfortable at first. Shower was odd in the room. No mini fridge and vending machine didn’t work. The coffee machine in room didn’t work either.

The location with many shops and restaurants close by, as well as the tram. Great views from our room. Room kept clean.

Rate/price per night was extremely high comparing to the facilities of the hotel & to the size of the room, heating didn’t work for the first 3 hours but they fixed it.

The Bedside lights concerned me - they were wire hung up against the wall with the bare light globe see photo. Buys your tickets before hand to Museums - look at app called Get your Guide select Amsterdam and purchase before you get there - wish I had known this

Located close to Amsterdam Centraal - walking distance also the location for the Hop on Hop Off buses and canal cruises. I dont eat breakfast but it smelled of nice pasteries. Also there was a reception person there 24/24 Walking distance to Restaurants (I am a vegan and didn't have difficulty with food choices) Anne Frank House, Red Light and shopping centre

Uber can't stop outside due to tram lines etc. Expected more of a communal area at the hotel as well as the room being slightly more comfortable. Room could of had bottled water.

Room size was fine. Bathroom small. No bath... On the main high street very close to the train station, restaurants, red light district and shops.

I didn't like that I couldn't walk around the bed; the head and the foot of the bed were against a wall, so I had to climb across the bed to draw and open the curtains and open and close the window.

I liked that I had an en suite bathroom with towels and shower gel provided. I liked that the hotel was located in the centre of Amsterdam.
